At TED Compliance Ltd. our aim is to make doing business with us as simple as possible so we may forge relationships which last the test of time. As such we have limited out terms of business as fairly and clearly as possible the following apply:

1. The services to be supplied are as per our proposal or any other literature issued either email (tedcompliance.com) or hard copy. Any verbal agreements must be confirmed in writing to or from us for record keeping.
2. All costs will be clearly explained in our proposal documents or email quotes and no additional costs will be charged (unless agreed and allowed for in this proposal. We will always state where costs quoted are exclusive of VAT (VAT will be charged at current UK rates)
3. In order to begin work, we would prefer a purchase order issued to us. Purchase orders can be issued as email confirmation or as issue of a posted (electronic or otherwise) purchase order document. We respectfully request that verbal orders are confirmed by email and we will always seek to obtain approval prior to works commencing.
4. TED Compliance Ltd will not issue an invoice for any works unless all works have been completed. Part invoicing may be arranged for larger works but this will be discussed and agreed in advance.
5. Invoice payment terms will be 30 days from date of issue unless otherwise agreed. TED Compliance Ltd does not offer any kind of credit facility.
6. Cancellation: in the unlikely event that a cancellation by the client is necessary we will not make any charges if no works have been completed. For completed works, we will invoice an agreed (usually pro-rata value of the works). In the unlikely event that we need to cancel works for any reason, we will discuss this in the first instance with the client’s representative and agree a pro-rata rate to invoice if works have begun.
7. TED Compliance Ltd has the following business tradesman insurance in place: Employers Liability £10m, Public and Products Liability £1m details are available on request.
8. TED Compliance Ltd. will prepare Health and Safety Method Statements and Task Risk Assessments and can be provided on request.
9. The Client must ensure that safe access to all required areas and documentation is granted.
10. We prepare reports and issue them electronically. The reports may be distributed among rightfully interested parties. Please be aware that some of the information contained in our reports may be commercially sensitive and should not be openly distributed among our competitors. We will be happy to supply our reports in secure format such as pdf. when such documents require inspection from our competitors.

We request that no information is submitted regarding TED Compliance Ltd following a ‘freedom of information’ without the prior written consent of a TED Compliance Ltd Director. This will protect our own commercial rights and our customer information.
