COVID 19

At TED Compliance Ltd we take our responsibility to our clients, staff and general public very seriously.

As a service provider involved in the surveying of buildings, this means that we travel up and down the UK visiting clients and sites. During this period of Covid 19 pandemic we are comitted to ensuring we do not contribute to the deepending of the disease.

Water management and Legionella control is considered an essential service. Here at TED Compliance Ltd we continuing to supply our services as we remain unaffected by the virus outbreak.

It is well known that as people stop using buildings one of the most affected services will be the water so it is essential that effective water management is in place or put in place to ensure buildings are safe for reoccupation/reduced occupation.

Our essential services will be undertaken including:

  • Assistive PPM to ensure water services remain in a safe condition.
  • Responsive PPM to reinstate water systems that have allowed to stagnate including disinfections and flushing.
  • Emergency investigation of any potential cases of Legionella or onset of illness suspected from water systems.
  • Emergency water sampling (Legionella, Bacteria, Coliforms, E-Coli etc.. UKAS Laboratory).
  • Other maintenance activities required in relation to water systems such as basic plumbing to isolate/reinstate systems.

Non-essential services will be delayed where possible until the epidemic has passed.

These include Legionella Risk Assessment unless being completed to investigate a potential case or an illness suspected to be related to water supplies.

Other precautions we have taken include issuing staff extra PPE, enhanced health and safety risk assessment and staff health surveillance and cancelation of non-essential works particularly within high risk premises such as hospitals and healthcare settings.
